Why I built trackajob…
Hi, I’m Simon Bowler. I run a carpentry business building bespoke timber structures for homes and gardens. I also share my work online with over 500,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
I’m not into software for the sake of it. I don’t want complicated systems with features I’ll never use. Like most tradespeople I know, I just want something that helps me run a better business, without changing how I work.
I needed a way to track job hours, missed costs, and profit, without spending hours learning a system or digging through scattered job notes and photos. That’s why I built trackajob.
It’s for tradespeople who are serious about growing a profitable business, but don’t want to jump into a bloated job management system designed for office-based teams.
